Background: The Museum invites volunteers to assist in the Hong Kong Art thematic exhibition and activities to facilitate visitor experience and help visitors to understand the exhibits in depth. Details: – To guide visitors in appreciating the exhibition – To provide information about the exhibits to visitors on the spot. – To assist with the operation of education programmes. – To monitor gallery operations and assist visitors in appreciating the artworks Date: 1 October 2026 – 31 December 2026 (except non-PH Thursdays) Time: 1st session: 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. 2nd session: 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Location: Hong Kong Art Gallery, 2/F & The Wing (Lower), G/F, Hong Kong Museum of Art (10 Salisbury Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon Hong Kong) No. of volunteers required: 4 persons per session Requirement: – Fluent in spoken Cantonese and able to communicate with visitors in simple Putonghua and English – Interest in contemporary art and new media art is preferred – Polite and has good interpersonal and communication skills as well as good customer service manner – Form 5 or above (experience in art education is preferred) Briefing *All successful applicants are required to attend the briefing session to learn more about the service details. Date: 30 September 2026 (Wed) Time: 7:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. Location: Hong Kong Museum of Art (10 Salisbury Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, Hong Kong) Details: Staff from the Hong Kong Museum of Art will introduce the background of the exhibition and the highlighted artworks, and provide points to note of the museum services. Registration: Please submit the completed online registration form by 12:00 nn on 17 July 2026 (Friday). Notes: If the number of applications received exceeds the quota, the MVS Secretariat will draw lots to select the participants. The successful applicants will be notified of the result by e-mail on or before 29 July 2026 (Wednesday). The unsuccessful applicants will also be notified by email separately.
